Tamarind has come up with the #hokkebab festival for the patrons. The festival will showcase a wide array of kebabs from North West Frontier cuisine and also include flavours from areas like Sindh, Punjab and Peshawar.
Mir, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee and Padmanabha Dasgupta graced the inauguration of this festival.
Owner-partner Gautam Purkayastha also graced the event. The food joint which is renowned for their South Indian dishes have come up with this kebab festival to introduce the customers to North Indian delicacies.
Seventeen special kebabs have been included in this festival. Some of the kebabs showcased at the festival include Soya keema kebab, Mutton chapli kebab, Tandoori jhinga, Nawabi dhingra kebab, Fish ajwani tikka, Murg tangri kebab, Tandoori stuffed pomfret and many more.
For the healthy individuals, a piece of good news!! Kebabs which are traditionally cooked on skewers have been declared as one of the healthiest foods globally. The slow grilling retains the nutrients of the food and also helps one to consume less oil.
A meal for a vegetarian couple will cost Rs 800 plus taxes while a meal for a non-vegetarian couple will cost Rs 1100 plus taxes.
The festival will begin from 10th and continue till 19th of August. The kebabs will be available from lunch to dinner between 12 noon to 11 pm. This is available at the food joint’s Sarat Bose Road outlet.
