Suman Ghosh’s First Hindi Film Aadhaar; A Social Satire About Modern Indian and The Common Man



Suman Ghosh’s Basu Poribaar is awaiting release, but the man has already decided about his first Hindi film Aadhaar featuring Vineet Kumar Singh who was last seen in Mukkabaaz.

The film is all set in Jharkhand and will narrate the story of the first person who got the Aadhaar card. Since the story is based in Jharkhand, the film will be made in Hindi. Aadhaar according to the director is a social satire and shows modern India and a story of the common man.

Drishyam Films will be producing the film. The company had earlier produced films like Masaan and Newton.

Saurabh Shukla will be seen in the role of a government official in the film. After watching Vineet in Mukkabaaz, the director was impressed with his acting capabilities and then he decided to cast him in the lead role in his film.

Amitosh Nagpal is writing the dialogues while Sirsha Ray is the cinematographer. Shantanu Moitra will be composing the music of the film.

The shooting will begin in Jharkhand in December and January.
