“While the other film industries in India have developed financially over the years, the industry in Bengal has not developed much economically. This has led to the bad economical status of the technicians who have contributed so much to the industry in their prime. We must take steps for the betterment of the industry so that the technicians and artists do not have to face such bad conditions in the future” said Chiranjeet Chakraborty.
Chiranjeet Chakraborty donated Rs 50, 000 to Eastern India Cinetel Welfare Trust at the event.
