P C Chandra Gardens, Kolkata in association with Jahnavi Centre for Performing Arts presented Badol Chhowa Lege, at its premises.
Jahnavi Centre for Performing Arts started its activities in the year 1998. It became a registered society in the year 2002 under the West Bengal Govt. Societies Act. It has also worked under the auspices of Indian Council for Cultural Relations and Ministry of Culture, and registered with Govt. of India Cultural Department.
Jahnavi Centre for Performing Arts initiated its function under the able leadership of Madhuboni Chatterjee, a well known Bharatnatyam Dancer and Choreographer, empanelled with ICCR, with the objective to spread the true spirit of our culture, including Classical Dance, Music, Theatre and other related activities.
The concept depicted different emotions and beauty of monsoon reflected through nature and human life. The presentation was a collage of poems and songs of Rabindranath Tagore woven together in the rhyme of pure dance and classical instrument.
