With summer heat at its peak, Taj Bengal has come up with an exotic Mango Festival with Cocktails, Mocktails and Dessert menu especially for the customers to beat the heat.
The bartender at The Junction, the railway-themed bar has some innovative lip smacking mango preparations.
Alphonso Colada is a Puerto Rico origin cocktail that has a twist with Alphonso mango, Malibu Rum and cream. Malda Martini is made with vodka, mango purée, Ghondoraj juice, green chilly. Kalbaisakhi consists of dark rum, mango juice, lime juice and spiced caramel syrup.
Other refreshing cocktails like Aqua Fresca Tequila, Mango juice, Cointreau and Jalapeno and Himsagar Bellini Himsagar puree, sparkling wine and a dash of Rose syrup will also be available.
Mango mocktails like Alphonso Basil Lemonade (Fresh cut Alphonso, lime juice, sugar, lemonade and basil), Mangonaria (Cut Himsagar mango, cut Watermelon, lime juice and Ginger Ale), Mango Cucumber Mule(Mango puree, Spiced ginger syrup, cucumber and soda), Mango Mary (Mango juice, lime, chat masala, green chilli and Worcestershire sauce), Nojito (Mango wedges mint, lime, sugar and soda) will also be on offer.
Cocktails cost Rs 850 plus tax and mocktails cost Rs 350 plus tax.
At La Patiserrie, delicious array of Mango desserts like Mango lassi, Mango Danish pastry, Mango pastry, Mango Cheese Cake, Mango Crunchy Parfait and Mango Cup Cake will be available from 15th May onward. The price starts from Rs 100 plus tax.
