Video: Future Plans of VLCC
VLCC, a leader in beauty and wellness industry in India, discussed its way forward in the country in the wake of the dynamic market shifts which will be shaping up the market. Mrs. Vandana Luthra, Founder, VLCC presided over the event. She spoke at length about the company’s future plans, upcoming lifestyle management program and the rapidly evolving marketing mix.
Mrs. Vandana Luthra spoke on how it is gradually becoming more important to tap all the consumer touch-points. She stressed on the ever-increasing importance of the digital medium and how it is almost obligatory for every brand to be present on the digital platform.
VLCC announced the launch of their upcoming therapeutic lifestyle Management Program, “Get Well Soon”. The program would prove instrumental in allowing the customers to enjoy a full, healthy, active life. VLCC would offer a suite of comprehensive therapeutic programs, each specifically designed for a set of related medical conditions to not only improve but also reverse the adverse lifestyle impact on the consumers’ health, thus allowing them to take charge of their health.
In addition, the company also announced the roll out of the first-of-its-kind multi-city ‘VLCC Makeup Festival’, designed to celebrate Indian beauty and connect with customers. VLCC, through the network of its wellness centers across 12+ cities in India, would provide make-up trials to consumers with focus on bridal, party and corporate day makeup for the ongoing and the upcoming season. The beauty experts at centers would also give beauty tips to customers to try at home.
To leverage the rising trend of beauty services at home or ‘On-Demand’ beauty services, and opting for buy vs. build, VLCC acquired Vanity Cube, one of the early start-ups in this space and shall target to fully integrate it in its wellness services business.
VLCC also acquired the Direct Selling business of Wellscience, a Gurugram-based company that offers a comprehensive range of high quality nutraceutical supplements and personal care products catering to customer requirements across age groups.
Mrs. Luthra also added that the GST will not hamper the industry much. Instead the unorganized sector will come under the umbrella leading to better services being provided to the customers.
