Actors Kunal Kapoor and Mohit Marwah along with director Tigmanshu Dhulia promoted their upcoming film Raag Desh in Kolkata. The press meet took place at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s ancestral home.
Kunal Kapoor described the experience to be surreal. “I had read about Netaji but I had no idea about INA. I have been living with this character for over a year now and coming to this place makes me feel connected” said the actor.
The film is about the contribution of Subhas Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army (INA) in India’s Independence. Raag Desh is about the famous Red Fort trial of three INA officers (Colonel Prem Sahgal, Shah Nawaz Khan and Gurubaksh Singh Dhillon).
Marwah said that visiting the ancestral home of Netaji was an emotional moment. The actor was not much aware of INA and the energy was getting on to him.
The film is slated for release on 28th July.
