Musical Evening Baadh Bhenge Dao celebrates India and Bangladesh’s shared love for Tagore; 92.7 Big FM Initiative

The two nations namely India and Bangladesh may be separated by the international border but when it comes to Rabindranath Tagore and his works, the two nations are united. This was again proved by the musical concert Baadh Bhenge Dao which took place at GD Birla Sabhaghar recently.

Lopamudra Mita, Rupankar Bagchi represented India while Bangladeshi singers Mita Huq and Lily Islam represented the other nation at the concert. The singers regaled the audience with their rendering of one Tagore song after the other. The event was indeed a memorable one for the lovers of Rabindra Sangeet living on both sides of the border.

The success of this event re-instated the fact that Indian and Bangladesh still share the same vibes when it comes to art and music, more so when it concerns Rabindranath Tagore.

This event was the final culmination of the month long initiative of 92.7 Big FM to celebrate the 154th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore titled Big Rabi Porbo.
