The team of the recently released film Byomkesh Pawrbo consisting of Arindam Sil, Abir Chatterjee, Iman Chakraborty, Ujjaini and others graced the occasion of the unveiling of the SHER 2017 calendar.
The calendar consists of drawings of young school children on tiger conservation. Speaking at the occasion, Arindam Sil said “Many of you who have watched the film must have seen a scene in which Satyabati sees a tusker. Many praised me for the CGI work that I have done. But the truth is that the tusker was a real one. We are even lucky that we got to see one of the biggest tuskers of the area on our way back”.
Abir Chatterjee highlighted on the fact that the adverse effects of mankind’s deeds can be felt now. “This is the winter season and we are finding it hard to keep on a sweater. One can understand the level to which Nature has been destroyed. Global warming is already wreaking havoc. What we can do is to save our lives, we must protect Nature. Sounds selfish, but this is the way to make man understand. If they begin now, maybe we can keep the remaining part of Nature in a good way” said the Tollywood actor.
Nature must be conserved or else saving the Earth will become a distant dream. Do your bit for Nature as even a small step matters!!
