New Kolkata Film School Abhinay Launched; Film Fraternity Joins in as Guest Faculty

Abhinay is a new acting school which has opened its door for the individuals interested in acting in the city of Kolkata. This New Kolkata Film School Abhinay is an initiative of Anindita Sarbadicari who is a pass out from National School of Drama, New Delhi and Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. The press-meet announcing the start of this acting school took place at the Press Club in the presence of Anindita Sarbahicari, Jaya Seal Ghosh, Sudarshan Chakraborty and others associated with this upcoming acting school.

Speaking on the occasion, Anindita Sarbadicari said “We cannot make you an actor, nobody can. What we will try to do is bring out the actor in you with the help of the training. We will simply train the faculties, sharpen the talents and help in honing the skills. This will be a holistic, comprehensive and designed journey of discovering the real individual inside. It will also help you to find the path to developing that self to its utmost possibilities. This will help in awakening potentials that even you might not be even aware of”.

The course is of three months duration and twenty five thousand will be charged from the students for undertaking the course. Twenty people will be taken in each batch. The classes will take place on weekends and will be of five hours duration. Age is not a bar. The minimal age must however be eighteen years.

The school has the some of the best actors and technicians from the film and entertainment industry as their faculty. Some of the noted personalities who will be giving the students lectures include Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Adil Hussain, Chandan Sen, Amit Banerjee, Jaya Seal Ghosh, Debshankar Halder, Sudarshan Chakraborty,Yashpal Sharma, Vipin Sharma, Bickram Ghosh and many more.

For those individuals for whom acting is a passion, Abhinay is a good institute to start with.
