Maruti Suzuki and Radio Mirchi Back With The Second Season of Traffic Heroes of India; Promotion of Traffic Awareness

Maruti Suzuki and Radio Mirchi are back with the second season of Traffic Heroes of India. The main aim of this initiative is to address the issues of road traffic awareness that plagues India. A press meet was organized to announce this initiative. Present at the launch was V Solomon, Bithindra Biswas, Saikat Mukherji, RN Bhaduri and others.

The campaign will recognize commuters who will be maintaining the traffic rules and wearing the protective gears. The activity will also encourage people to take the pledge to follow the traffic rules across various mall, corporate and marketplaces.

Six or seven crossings will be identified each day for the activity. Some of the crossings which have been identified include Tollygunje metro, Golpark, Phoolbagan, Kestopur, Kaikhali, Garia, Park Street and many more.

City commuters can give their support to the initiative by giving a miss call to the number to 8000100129 or can post pictures of fellow commuters #pledgeforroadsafety who will be seen adhering to traffic rules. The lucky winner will be awarded by Radio Mirchi.

The week long initiative will continue till the 15th of January. The initiative will take place in 30 cities namely Chennai, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Pune and others.

Upcoming Bollywood Film Raees Trailer Launch; Shahrukh Khan Interacted Live With Audience via UFO’s Curtain Raiser

The digital era saw yet another path breaking initiative by UFO Moviez. The world’s first-ever big screen trailer launch of movie ‘Raees’ mesmerized audiences in 10 theatres across Mumbai, Delhi, Indore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Surat and Moga. UFO Moviez’s latest initiative ‘Curtain Raiser’ enabled King Khan to launch the much-awaited Raees trailer simultaneously in the theatres and gave him an opportunity to interact live with audience on Big Screen. The platform –‘Curtain Raiser’, introduced by UFO Moviez, empowers a brand to interact live with audiences across their network of over 5000 screens.

The Baadshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan, stationed at UFO Moviez’s central studio, interacted with the audiences for an hour, with fans fervently asking for more. The audience sitting in theatres in the selected 10 cities could see and interact with the actor himself. The staggering enormity of the initiative truly came across when viewers at one location could hear those at another, while they interacted with Mr Khan.

With this phenomenal event, UFO Moviez has ignited a spark that will provoke a revolution in the digital wave of Indian cinema. The name of the theatres participated for the interactive session are Mumbai – Gold Cinemas (Milan Mall), Moga (Punjab) – Neelam Nova Cinemaz, Jaipur – Golcha Cinema (Nile), Kolkata – Menoka Cinema, Delhi – Delite Theatre, Indore – Madhu Milan Cinema, Hyderabad- Venkatramana Megaplex Ahmedabad – City Gold Ashram Road, Bengaluru – Q Cinemas and Surat – DR World (INOX).

To promote the trailer launch, a short teaser was shot wherein King Khan himself invited people to the theatres to be part of this first of its kind of trailer launch.

Actress Ranita at “My First Pimple” Campaign in Kolkata

Himalaya Purifying Neem Face Wash, a leading face wash brand in the country rolled out its pan-India campaign ‘My First Pimple’ in Kolkata. The campaign focuses on connecting with teenagers between 13-17 years with an intent to tackle emotional and physical challenges faced during their growing-up years including pimples.The campaign was kick-started in Pune last week and will further travel across different cities including Kanpur, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and Patna.

In Kolkata, the activity was held at Jewish High School in the presence of Ranita Das, Television Actress along with Mr. Hemang Vasani, Brand Manager – Face Wash at The Himalaya Drug Company.

Himalaya has identified a group of successful women from different aspects of life including boxers, activists, chefs, actors and many more to inspire and raise the conversation among teenage girls by focusing on real challenges of life and not getting mired by pimples. Our influencing individuals would share stories from their growing-up days and their road to success to drive confidence among teenagers.

Speaking at the event, the actress said, “While it is good to see children being more competitive and taking independent career decisions, it is equally disappointing that they tend to get distracted due to something as petty as a pimple. I remember trying every other remedy to keep pimples at bay. It is funny when I think of it now. And this is exactly what I want to convey to the adolescents of today. It is important for them to understand that it is only natural to get pimples and is just a temporary phase in life. I am glad to be a part of the campaign and contribute my bit to raise their spirits high.”

By sharing inspiring stories both online and offline through the influencers, the company wants to re-instill confidence and help teenagers overcome social embarrassment.
