India’s first digital art gallery showcases Krishnacharita
India Green Reality Pvt. Ltd. launched ‘Gallery Green’, Eastern India’s first digital art gallery through ‘Krishna Charita’, 52 Shades of Divinity.
Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia inaugurated the online gallery and the exhibition at Mira Mandir alongside Mr. Wasim Kapoor, Mr. Niranjan Pradhan and Mr. Amitava Samanta, Director, India Green Reality.
‘Krishna Charita’ showcased the work of new artists like Sudipto Kundu, Shankhajit Jana, Priyoranjan Purokait, Avik Saha, Bhaskar Rakshit among others. This exhibition focused on reaffirming the age old norms and values of our culture.
“I am very pleased to be a part of this great initiative. I believe we must encourage new artists and harness their talents for they are the future. It is truly wonderful that a part of these proceeds will also be going towards the welfare of the children from Khushee NGO” said Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia.
The second day saw actress Payel Sarkar and singer Surojit visiting the exhibition. The duo was charmed by the paintings on display at Krishna Charita.
The third and final day of ‘Krishna Charita’ came to an end when Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan Girija Devi, the ‘Queen of Thumri’ visited the exhibition.
Gallery Green, which is Eastern India’s first digital art gallery is dedicated to a social cause and will be a permanent online platform to promote talented artists. Part of the sales proceeds will go to the participating artists while the rest will go to Khushee – a CSR initiative of India Green.
