Directed by Premendu Bikash Chaki, the next Zee Bangla Cinema Originals film is Dum Dum Digha Digha. This film is the sequel of the earlier film Guti Malhar. In this film, the pair of Guti Malhar who was in love is now a married couple. They have been married for eight months now. Guti who has changed completely is now a normal housewife who becomes bored with her life. So she and her husband go on a honeymoon from Dum Dum to Digha.
Their whole family follows them to Digha. Bhatkai meanwhile had hired Gharanchi Bogol to kill them and even Bogol follows them. What happens as a result?
The film stars Anindita Bose, Sourav Das, Ribhu Mukherjee, Biplab Dasgupta, Rita Koiral, Anamika Saha in important roles. The film will be aired on 27th November at 6 pm.

The trailer release ceremony of the upcoming Bengali film Benche Thakar Gaan-The Song of life took place in the presence of director duo Abhijit Guha-Sudeshna Roy, Gargee Roy Chowdhury, Pradip Mukherjee, Dwijen Banerjee, Sohag Sen, Anamika Saha, Raja Narayan Deb, Gautam Susmit and others.
The film revolves around Sunshine old age home. This has been started by Dr Partha Sinha (Tota Roy Chowdhury), who is a single parent with a son. He has devoted his life to build a home for the aged people. This old age home looks after those people whose children due to various reasons are unable to look after them. Dr. Paromita Sen (Gargee Roy Chowdhury), a young psychiatrist comes to this old age home. She has recently broken up with her fiancé and she commits herself to the old age home. It is here that she spreads sunshine in the lives of these senior citizens. A tragedy strikes. What happens next?
Gargee Roy Chowdhury who plays the role of Dr. Paromita Sen said “For me Rana da and Sudeshna di is like family. When I started my career, I did films with them. So whenever they offer me any role, I say yes. I will not thank them for this role as they are family and you do not thank the family members”.
Speaking at the occasion, director Sudeshna Roy said “I am a positive person and my film is also about spreading positivity. It is about spreading positive vibes among the senior citizens who often feel that they are neglected due to their old age. The film showcases the innermost complications that arise in the minds of the senior citizens”.
The screenplay is by Padmanabha Dasgupta. The music has been composed by Raja Narayan Deb and the lyrics of the songs are by Rabindranath Tagore, D L Roy and Gautam Susmit. Prabuddha Raha, Saumya Pal, Zinia and National Award winning singer Jayasree Bhattacharjee have lent their voices to the songs in this film.
The film is slated for release on the 2nd of December.
The press conference of director Anup Sengupta’s film Raater Rajanigandha took place recently in the presence of Rituparna Sengupta, producer Pradip Churiwal, Badsha Moitra and others.
The story of the film narrates the struggle of a village belle Putul who comes to the city and confronts a series of misfortunes. But she decides to fight her fate and carry on with her life. After being left homeless and orphaned in her village following a political clash, she comes and takes shelter at the house of Lakhua, a neighbor from her village. He helps her get a job at a hotel where she meets Bhulu. Bhulu is a young upright man but has shady connections. They fall in love and marry. They bear a child out of the wedlock and life seems to take a turn for the better. But happiness does not last long. Another accident leaves Bhulu crippled and she has to go to extremes to help earn for his medical expenses. What happens next is what the film all about.
Debjit is composing the music for this film.
Rituparna Sengupta, Rajesh Sharma, Kharaj Mukherjee, Badsah Moitra, Kamalika Banerjee, Anamika Saha and others will be seen in important roles in the film.

Aakash aath serial Ghhente Gha will air a special New Year episode to welcome the New Year 2015. The New Year Special episode was shot at a studio in Joka.
The special episode will show that Makarand Chowdhury will come to know about the lie told by Rajat regarding the orphanage. As a result he leaves the orphanage with Semanti. Makarand resolves not to leave Rajat the moment he comes back to his house. Meanwhile he also begins the preparations of Semanti and Sugato’s marriage. All members of the Chatterjee household unite on Rajat’s behalf. The women of the family come to the house of Makarand dressed up as Santa Claus. However all their plans are spoiled by Sugato. Amidst all this the New Year arrives. The family members decide to make a new beginning and forget about the old happenings. Whether Rajat will be successful in recovering Semanti or becomes a prey to the conspiracy of Sugato is what the serial will unveil.
The story of the serial is by Manish Ghosh. She is an elocutionist who has also a penchant for singing songs. She is none other than the talented Madhumita Basu. The talented elocutionist completed her twenty five years of stage journey and to commemorate this long journey, Onyo Ami was organized at ICCR.

Madhumita Basu began her journey as an announcer in Akashbani. Next she ventured into the world of FM as an anchor. Simultaneously she continued with her acting in Bengali films and serials. Speaking at the ocaasion she said “I am very thankful to my in-laws too. They have been extremely supportive of my decision to continue with elocution as a profession. My husband has also been equally helpful. All my work began after marriage and without their help nothing would have been possible” said Madhumita Basu.
The second part of the evening was dedicated to the album launch of the artist. The CD which is a collection of love poems of Tagore was released by Minister Arup Biswas, Srabani Sen, Indrani Sen, Devasish Kumar, Anamika Saha, Chandrabali Rudra Dutta and many other dignitaries.
Speaking at the occasion ace singer Indrani Sen said “Madhumita is my sister, just like Srabani. I am very proud that she has continued and has earned so much respect due to her hard work. I hope she does a solo program in Rabidra Sadan in future”.
Madhumita Basu kept the audience enthralled with her live recitation of poems by poets starting from Rabindranath Tagore to Joy Goswami. Bithi Chattopadhyay’s Aloukik was a special treat for the audience.
The packed audience at ICCR auditorium was enough proof of the love that the audience has for poetry and also for Madhumita Basu, the elocutionist.
