STORY and Grapevine India launched Shariful Hassan and Arindam Mukherjee’s book Sambhala at STORY. The book will mark the strengthening of Indo-Bangaldesh cross cultural associations. Present at the book launch ceremony was Mr. Mofakkharul Iqbal, First Secretary, Deputy Hi Commission, Bangladesh along with Arindam Mukherjee and Shariful Hassan.
Sambhala, A New Suspense Novel Launched

Arindam Mukherjee named stories of Feluda, Byomkesh as some of his favorite thriller stories which he grew up reading.
Shariful Hassan’s Sambhala first came out in Bengali in Bangladesh. Following the great success of the Bengali version, he collaborated with Aindam Mukherjee for the Indian readers to get a taste of this fast paced thriller. Shariful Hassan said “Adventure stories have a huge fan following in any country. So I thought of collaborating with Arindam and giving a puja gift to the book lovers here in India. This will give the young generation a feel of the stories that we have grown up reading”.
Sambhala is surely a must have for all fiction and suspense lovers; who knows, we may soon get to see a film made on it!
