Barbeque Nation Presents Tasty Delights with a Bengali Twist for the Upcoming Durga Puja


With the Pujas around the corner, Barbeque Nation has come up with an unlimited buffet menu to cater to the love of food of the Bengalis. The buffet menu which will begin from 6th October will continue till 12th October at the restaurant.

“Bengalis and food, especially during the Pujas is a great combination. Hence keeping this in mind we have come up with an unlimited offering for the customers. The menu has all the authentic Bengali dishes which one might want to eat. They will not feel that they are not eating out of home. Bhapa Ilish, Chingri malaikari and Kosha mangsho are some of the hot favorites in the menu” said Suman Mukherjee (Senior Cluster Manager).


Vegetarian starters include Cajun spiced potato, Crispy corn, Vegetable chop, Tandoori aloo, Honey chilly pine apple and others. Non Vegetarian starters include Ajwaini fish, Malai chicken, Tandoori pomphret and others. Soups include Tomato basil soup and Lemon coriander chicken soup.

Main course vegetarian dishes include Veg Biryani/pulao, Gobhi chandan bhog, Doi patal, Kadhai paneer and others. Non-vegetarian dishes consist of Mutton biryani, Kosha Mangsho, Murg lababdar, Hilsa bhapa and many more.


Desserts include Misti doi, Payesh, Fruit truffle, Rosogolla, Chocolate brownie and others.

The price per individual for vegetarian buffet will be Rs 899 and for the non-vegetarian buffet, the charge will be Rs 1100.

This partnering with the Curry King and Barbeque Nation will help in giving the customers a unique barbeque experience. The celebrity chef who has an in-depth knowledge about spices will be making the customers go ga-ga over his barbequed dishes that he will be preparing.


Patrick Lawrence Chapman has often been hailed as ‘The Ambassador of Indian Food’ and the ‘Curry Leader’ by eminent food critics in Britain. Pat was a regular guest chef on the leading luxury liner, the QE2 for many years. He has also worked for the Taj and the Hilton. His understanding of spices is so detailed that he has often been called by the Indian Government to deliver lecture on spices.

Barbeque Nation is a pioneer in the restaurant circuit in India to promote the concept of ‘DIY’ or also known as do-it-yourself. The restaurant chain also introduced the concept of live on the table grill concept in India. Barbeque Nation has therefore captured the place for the largest casual dining brand in India.
