Kolkata Restaurant GT Route Gears Up to Offer a Delectable Spread for the Upcoming Puja

The GT Route has come up with delicious and lip smacking items to make the festive days special for the food lovers of the city. Festivity is incomplete without good food. And keeping that in mind, The GT Route’s new menu will be offering delicious food to the customers during the Pujo days.

Puja special items on offer include Tandoori Jhinga (Oudhi), Chapli Kebab (Afgani), Murg Hazrat Mahal (Oudhi), Gilafee Sheek Kebab (Oudhi), Dum Ka Murg  (Oudhi) and Mutton Shahi Stew (North Indian).

Drinks that will be served consist of Shomleh (Kabuli). Starters consists of Macher Paturi  (Bengali), Mahi Tikka (Punjabi), Tandoori Jhinga  (Oudhi), Chapli Kebab (Afgani), Tandoori Tangri Kebab  (Punjabi), Peshawari Murg Tikka (Peshwari), Murg Hazrat Mahal  (Oudhi), Murg Tandoori Charbagh (Punjabi), Chicken Tikka (Punjabi), Barrah Kebab  (Peshwari), Galouti Kebab  (Oudhi)  and Gilafee Sheek Kebab (Oudhi).

The timings are 12 noon to 4 pm for lunch and dinner will be served from7 pm to 11:30 pm. The pocket pinch is Rs 800 plus taxes for two people.

Hotel Sonnet Pujo Menu Launch Graced by Kyra Dutt, Riddhi Bandopadhyay and Sharbari Datta

The long, lost chops will be brought back in the Durga Puja menu of Hotel Sonnet. The Pujo menu will focus on different kinds of chops which are no longer easily available at the stores. The long lost chops from different parts of the country have been made available during the food festival.

Actress Kyra Dutt, singer Riddhi Bandopadhyay and fashion designer Sharbari Datta was present at the occasion of the Pujo menu launch.

Chalkumror bora, Morogmonohara, Echorer chop, Patsakher bora is some of the different kinds of chops which will be made available to the customers. A chef will be present who will take the orders and make the chops live. The chops will be served in baskets as it is done in the roadside stalls. This has been done to lend an aura of authenticity to the feel of consuming chops.

The main course dishes consist of authentic, traditional Bengali items. Hilsa, lobster, chicken, mutton will also be available in different mouthwatering dishes for the customers.

The food festival will start from 5th and continue till the 11th of September at Hotel Sonnet.

The Hub, a stylish multi-cuisine restaurant is offering the diners with elaborate lunch and dinner buffets during Durga Puja. Apart from the varied choice in Continental and Indian cuisines like Basmati Rice, Golbari Kosha Aloo, Paneer Lalmirch, Phoolkophir Dalna, Beckti Macher Tel Jhal, Chicken Biriyani, Gosht Rezala, Kalakand, Rajbhog and many more, the buffet also presents a choice of regional favorites of West Bengal. Lunch will be available from 12:30 PM-3:30 PM and dinner will be available from 7:30 PM-11:30PM.
