Jaisalmer’s Vegan Menu Launched;An Interesting Array of Vegetarian Dishes


After serving authentic Indian, Mughlai and Awadhi cuisine with contemporary presentations, Jaisalmer celebrates its first ever Vegan Highlight, with the launch of a brand new vegan menu. The new menu features favorite classics and innovative creations. Inspired by the vibrant streets and kitchens of India and North-West, the menu takes on a repertoire of famous street foods with a refreshing twist.

The essence and story of any major city of the world can be said to be found in its local food. With a refreshed menu, diners can experience the different facets of India through a feast full of tradition and modernity all at the same time.


Exotic dishes like Bharwan Gilafi Aloo, Niramisi Purdah Biryani, Dawati Kashmiri Pulao, Malai Paneer Seekh, NiliMiliSabzi, NilgiriSeekh Kebab, Babri Aloo etc. will be available.The opulent and varied preparations with highly aromatic flavors of the food is so alluring that it will surely leave you yearning for more! The New Vegan Menu will also offer a sumptuous feast of authentic and traditional Peshawari andAwadhi Kebabs and Curries.

The cost for two is Rs 800 plus taxes. The timing is from 12pm to 11pm.

Fusion Food Fiesta at Kolkata Vegetarian Restaurant Casa Kitchen


Casa Kitchen which had been offering new and exciting dishes for the vegetarian food lovers of Kolkata has come up yet again with a new fusion food festival titled “Fusion Food Fiesta”.


Speaking about the new fusion menu, Swarup Ghosh, General Manager said “We always come up with new menus to break the monotony. Hence we came up with this menu which will allow us to experiment with traditional and Continental dishes. This will be a good break for all the customers. We want people to come to come here and enjoy these delicacies we have on offer for them”.


Yoghurt and lemon soup and Tomato wanton soup have been kept in the soup category. As starters, Schezwan paneer tikka, Corn and broccoli spring roll, Paneer fritter with hot garlic sauce, Vegetable shami kebab with salsa, Stuffed potato with cocktail sauce and Soya Falafel in parsley sour cream is on offer.


For the main course, the festival has Baked conjee veg and Macaroni, Kadhai ratatouille, Stuffed jalapeno in makhani curry, Spinach pasta in Hunan sauce, Paneer steak sizzler and Paneer shaslik with Bar-be-que sauce.

Cappuccino Monte carlo and Garam Masala brownie have been included for the food lovers with a sweet tooth.


A meal for two will cost Rs 1000 plus taxes. Lunch will be available from 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm while dinner will be served from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm. Starting from 12th March, the festival will continue till the 27th of March.
