ETV Bangla’s Bhule Jeo Na Please is the story of a girl named Nidhi who is immensely forgetful by nature. She stays in hostel which is situated far away from Kolkata in a hill station. Rony, the hero of the serial is a passionate cricketer with confusion and confidence. Due to her forgetful nature Nidhi creates problem even in the hostel too. She is left with no other option than to leave the hostel, she meets Rony and they flee to Kolkata. Fate brings them together and they get married. Will they be able to love each other?\
The character of Rony is played by Subhojit (acted in serials like Ghete Ghaw, Rajjotok). “The name of my character is Ramapati Singho. But since I dislike the name and it does not sound cool, I have shortened it to Rony. Since I play the role of a cricketer I practiced many scenes. I used to play cricket when I used to study in class eight-nine. But after that the pressures of study took over, cricket took a backseat” said the actor.
Manali plays the role of Nidhi in the serial. “The roles that I have until now like Ishani and Mouri are different from Nidhi. She is a forgetful person. She has shades in her character. Cricket plays an important role and I will like to say this is a refreshing story” said Manali.
The serial started just a month before the cricket world cup. “I like cricket more than football. The stating of the cricket world cup will have positive influences on the serial and will interest many cricket loving audience too” added Subhojit.
Dipankar Dey ( as Gojapoti Singho), Amrita will be seen in important roles in the serial. The creative director of the show is Haranath Chakraborty.
Bhule Jeo Na Please is aired every Monday to Saturday at 6.30 pm on ETV Bangla.
