Bollywood actress Shaddha Kapoor who struck gold with back to back releases like Ashiqui 2 and Ek Villain will be seen again in the role of a dancer in the upcoming Bollywood film ABCD 2. The actress who is preparing for this film injured herself during the shoot of this film. This happened when she was busy preparing herself for a difficult move. She had also done some practice before she did the actual split. But she landed up hurting herself. Shraddha suffered from a muscle pull and was in a lot of pain due to this. She was immediately taken care of by a physiotherapist and is undergoing sessions. She has been advised rest for a week.
Shraddha had been undergoing extensive training and working out for the split. She was dejected as she had to train for such long periods. As a result she planned a fitness plan according to which she will be making the recovery.
Even during resting, the actress will be making the most of the time. She has been watching extensive dance videos and trying to understand the nuances of the dance forms. Her role in this upcoming Bollywood film ABCD 2 is very different from the roles that she had been playing till date. Citing the role as challenging, the actress said she had been able to learn a lot from this role. She is trying her best to get well soon so that she can again start shooting.
Director Remo D’souza informed that she tore a muscle while training for the dance move. The director also revealed that the injury is not serious and there is nothing to worry about. However the director refused to divulge anything about the song. The shooting will begin from August end.
ABCD 2 also stars Varun Dhawan and the entire team of the prequel. We fervently hope that Shraddha gets well soon.
After having made the superhit period drama Jodhaa Akbar, Hrithik Roshan and Ashutosh Gowariker are back with another period drama titled Mohenjodaro which is essentially a love story.
Gowariker who was quoted saying that he simply loves retelling love stories is really excited to be working on this film which shows love in its ancient, unadulterated and more passionate form. The director is indeed making a brave attempt of narrating a tale of love set in the 2500 BC but with the kind of experience Mr. Gowariker has there seems to be no reason why such a beautiful concept should ever see any issues.
Indian Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has been signed as the Hero of the film but the leading lady is yet to be zeroed down on. Hrithik who very much looked and acted like the illustrious king Akbar in Gowariker’s previous film Jodhaa Akbar is quite excited about this new venture and finds this new concept quite challenging as well as interesting.
Just as Aishwarya Rai as Jodhaa Bai had beautifully complemented the handsome kind king Akbar, we hope that for the upcoming Bollywood Movie Mohenjodaro an equally talented actress with looks to kill for is signed.
Seems like the Indian cine hoers are in a for another visual treat…. Please do not disappoint Mr. Gowariker !
Bollywood’s very own Serial Kisser Emraan Hashmi now seems to have a female counterpart in Alia Bhatt as this vivacious young actress seems to have no inhibitions about doing some sensuous lip-lock scenes in films.
Alia-Bhatt who is now three films old has already done kissing scenes with Sidhartha Malhotra, Randeep Hooda and Arjun Kapoor for her previous three Hindi Films namely Student Of the Year, Highway and 2 States and will again be seen putting the testosterone levels of her male fans in a frenzy with another sensuous kiss in her new film HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA where she stars opposite David Dhawan’s son, the very talented Varun Dhawan.
Alia, who definitely does not seem to be having any qualms about such scenes also candidly states that such sensuous moments are in fact essential for love stories.
HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA which stars the cute couple Alia and Varun shall also mark the debut of actor Siddhartha Shukla and director Sashank Khaitan.
Co-produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, the New Bollywood Movie HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA is all set to release on July 11.
The release date of Rajinikanth-Deepika starrer KOCHADAIIYAAN has been pushed yet again.
Eros will now release the Soundarya Rajnikanth Ashwin directed film on May 23rd 2014, two weeks after its previously announced date of May 9th 2014 to cater to the demand for multiple language and the 2D and 3D versions to release the same day.
KOCHADAIIYAAN features the unique visual mastery of Photorealistic Performance Capture technology for the very first time in the history of Indian cinema. The film is being released in six Indian language versions Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Bhojpuri and Punjabi, simultaneously in 2D and 3D in over 6000 screens worldwide. Although the entire unit was optimistically gearing up for a 9th May release, due to some unexpected technical issues, this mammoth worldwide release in multiple languages in 2D and 3D is now set to release on 23rd May 2014.
It’s a predictable horror/revenge drama, quite unimaginative and brings nothing new to the table.
The security officer of the prestigious Amity Mall is seen talking to an unseen ‘atript’ soul. The soul wants him to call up his office and get someone by the name Vishnu and the scared and shaking and sweating officer does the needful. He tries to get away in his car after that but does not succeed and dies in a car crash. Next we see Jimmy Shergill being interviewed by Asif Basra for the security chief’s job. He is Vishnu. Jimmy gets the job.
The developers of the mall organize a promotion and marketing party joined by their family and friends. In the meantime Vishnu begins seeing things and discovers that the mall was built after the demolition of an orphanage. There was an accidental fire that had killed a score of children and a nun who looked after them. It was rumored that the nun herself had set fire to the orphanage after poiso
ing the kids. One of the boys in the orphanage supposedly survived but none saw him ever after that.
The party has come to an end and while the other guests leave, the promoters and their kin are caught in the mall and have no way to escape their doomed fate. The powerful and scary spirit starts killing them one by one. It’s out to take some kind of revenge for the past misdeeds of the promoters.
Is it scary? Not really. In spite of its bang-bang background score it does not send any chilly shivers up your spine. The beginning reveals the middle and end. There is nothing there to surprise you, not even the performances. Some of the dialogues among the young actors are written in a free flowing natural style and I liked that.
