Maestro Monojit Datta’s dream project “Let the river flow” was unveiled at The Biker’s Café in the presence of many stalwarts from the music industry. The project is a first of its kind platform where the young talents are give an opportunity to showcase their skills. Let the River Flow features the band Clave Mantra as well as some of the most promising musicians like Supratim Roy, Malay, Suhrid Ghosh, Bubai Das and others.
Monojit Datta is one of the most loved musicians in the city. He is considered as the pioneer of authentic Latin and Jazz music in India. Noted percussion brand Meini has selected him for the endorsement of various musical instruments. The musician continues to spread the message of “Pray to play and play to pray”. With “Let the river flow” he will be showcasing the skills of those young talents whom he had been nurturing for the past many years.
Speaking at the occasion Monojit Datta said “I thank God for blessing me always. This will indeed be a great platform for the young and talented musicians to enhance their knowledge and showcase their skills. This will give them the desired break that they need for their career”.
